The transverse rigidity value of the belt body is the ratio between the bending weight of the belt body and the width value of the belt body caused by the self-weight of the belt body in the transverse and vertical section of the belt body, which is freely supported on both sides of the belt body. The technical standard requirements for the lateral rigidity value of the high lateral rigidity conveyor belt is no more than 0.05. After the optimization and improvement of the structure of the conveyor belt body and the addition of the lateral rigidity strengthening layer, the transverse rigidity detection value is 0.036, and the transverse deformation of the belt body is reduced, which can increase the carrying capacity by 15% ~ 20%.
The effective measure to improve the transverse rigidity of the large and heavy duty side conveyor belt is to set the special composite layer of polyester staple fiber between the multi-layer tensile body canvas layers of the flat base belt body, that is, the polyester staple fiber is buried in the rubber layer along the horizontal single direction of the belt body.
The use of the special composite rubber layer to enhance the lateral bending ability of the belt body can increase the transverse rigidity value of the belt body by 2.5 times compared with the common structure of the belt body, even if the transverse rigidity value is increased from 0.09 to 0.036.
These are the improvement of the formula of the conveyor belt on the flange, and the real improvement of the service life of the conveyor belt lies in the operator's use of the conveyor belt, and unprofessional operation will greatly consume the service life of the conveyor belt.
